Job description
Are you someone who likes to take the lead, keep an overview and get energy from working with people? For a large and versatile garden centre in Denekamp, we are looking for several team leaders for different departments.
As a team leader, you actively work in your department and at the same time you are the point of contact for your team. You ensure that daily activities run smoothly, colleagues know what is expected of them and customers are helped in a pleasant and professional manner.
What will you do?
Together with your team, you make sure that the department runs well and looks well-maintained and attractive. You keep an overview, distribute the work and step in where needed.
Your tasks include
- Managing and guiding employees
- Distributing and coordinating daily activities
- Actively working on the shop floor
- Ensuring a tidy, attractive and well-organised department
- Advising and helping customers
- Keeping an overview and switching gears quickly when needed
- Together with colleagues and other team leaders, ensuring a pleasant working atmosphere
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for several enthusiastic team leaders who dare to take responsibility and can work well with different people.
Experience as a team leader, manager or in another supervisory role is a great advantage. Haven't had an official management position yet, but do you have extensive sales experience and are you ready for the next step? Then we'd also like to hear from you.
It's important that you
- Are available 32 to 38 hours per week
- Are available every other weekend
- Have experience managing employees OR have extensive sales experience
- Are customer-oriented and have strong communication skills
- Can work independently and take responsibility
- Can keep an overview, even during busy moments
- Enjoy working together and know how to motivate colleagues
